Joel San Juan is a Camera and Steadicam Operator based in Brooklyn, New York, and a proud member of ICG Local 600.
Originally from Singapore, he began his career in the camera department, gradually working his way up and discovering a deep passion for camera operating — particularly with stabilizers and remote heads.
Joel has lived and worked across Asia and Europe before relocating to the United States, bringing a global perspective and the same enthusiasm for visual storytelling through camera movement that first inspired him in 2004.
He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, and conversational (or nearly) in French and Tagalog — depending on the day.
